Student Network for Human Security

About the Network

Apart from buildings, books and computers, what makes a university are professors and students, the people who join in efforts to try to grasp the reality and improve given conditions through knowledge. Here, the Human Security vision that guides the research of students of this graduate program in Human Security makes it indispensable to have, from the beginning, excellent teamwork and open linkages to those who share the vision, the worries or the will to work – without any distinction as to nationality, race and gender, nor among students, politicians, technicians and citizens. So everybody is invited to join this Network, and to share your thoughts and experience as well as to help each other, because threats and challenges that motivate our search for Human Security rather do discriminate among us.

This is, in a few words, the objective of the Student Network for Human Security of Tohoku University, a space to share our questions and groping for answers, and to link up and participate with our experience wherever we can be of any help. So please do not hesitate to join us - bring your expertise and share your insights!
